About FashionArtSuffer
How did I get into art? How did a pastry apprentice become the creative, art-loving person I am today?
I grew up in a small, somewhat sleepy village in eastern Switzerland.
Even in childhood and youth, I was characterized by my passion for the imaginative and artistic. I couldn't do anything with boredom. I particularly enjoyed experimenting with fashion and tailoring my clothes in my free time. This enthusiasm for fashion, fabrics and playing with colors grew steadily and I deepened my knowledge as much as I could.
This was also the reason why I decided to study fashion design at the F&F School for Art and Design in Zurich after completing my apprenticeship and working as a confectioner. One step closer to my dream of being able to make a living from it. As everyone knows, the path to the goal is not always easy. In order to keep myself afloat for my dream, I took on various jobs during my studies. I also continued my job after completing my studies, during a fashion internship. So I worked my way from one job to the other for years - because the fashion industry is tough, and I had to experience this again and again. Soon I slipped into the "uniform": I uniformed employees of hotels, banks and shops. Since this was too uncreative for me, I was drawn to made-to-measure clothing and I've been a custom-made specialist since 2017. I am responsible for made-to-measure shirts, made-to-measure suits, vests and coats, everything your heart desires.
During all this time, art and painting was always a quiet place, my creative oasis, a refueling after difficult life situations, or a balance where I could let out my anger and frustration. The art and the opportunity to express myself in my own way give me a consistency that was missing in some phases of life.
My art is just like me: imaginative, dreamy, sometimes close to reality, sometimes unrealistic, but above all one thing: authentic. In this way I want to share a part of myself with the world.
